PRAYER: YOUR DIVINE ACCESS KEY!

       I welcome you again into the concluding part of the message I started earlier under the above subject matter. I want to believe you have started fanning your prayer life to flame now, in order to recover all what the enemy has stolen from you over the years through your cold prayer altar and shallow prayer life.

      In order to continue from where I stopped, I remember back in the teens, being a troublesome boy so to speak, I did not so much take it lightly with anyone that cross my path, as long as I have the ability to beat you. The powerful ones among my peers would prefer to flex muscle with me and see who could defeat each other. If I could not defeat you the first time, I would always look for a way of revisiting the battle, because the only thing I cannot take is defeat. So that enabled me to wear a level of fear and threat to other children in my area back then. Nearly every parents would warn their children not to play with me, But the wise ones among my play mate who could not defeat me in fight has a way they retaliate anytime I beat them, they would start weeping and with that tears running down their faces would go and report me to my dad, even when I did not really beat them as such.

    The principle with my dad is that, there is no reasonable excuse that can be tenable or justifiable before him for you to take action on your hand to beat anyone without reporting them to him. He would always accuse you of not reporting the offender to him, and that would inevitably attract many lashes and other punishments.

    In the same vein, when you report your enemies to God, you have already engaged the heavenliest in battle on your behalf, and the outcome would be to your most advantage. It is then you'd be able to answer a fool according to his folly, in completion of that scripture, lest he thinks he be wise(Proverbs.).

    Friend, are you experiencing an unfriendly time that brings you sleepless night? Or your unpalatable situation has turned you to an object of mockery and ridicule in the society? Or perhaps, like the saying of Hezekiah, you have come to birth of good things of life you long conceived and there is no strength to bring them forth? Why not take it to God in prayer and draw down the helping hands of the highest authority in the whole universe! God will not do anything until you inform Him. Of course He's aware, but He'll assume you can handle it all alone if you don't inform Him. He's never an intruder, and doesn't pork-nose into affairs that He was not invited into. His counsel for you at that state is to call upon Him in the day of adversity, and deliverance is certain. Don't be too proud to officially report your case at the throne of grace, where everyone that ascends obtain mercy and grace for victory in battle. If you fail to do so, your matter would be regard unofficial and would not be attended to.

   Don't forget, Hannah prayed; and God avenged for her and wiped her reproach from Peninnah, her rival and all the women of the land (1 Samuel 1).

  Jabesh prayed, and he was more honorable than his brothers.

Jacob prayed, and he received a change of identity and eventually recovered his birth right(Genesis.32)

 Our elders in the race who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of sword, and turn to flight the armies of the aliens could not earn their victories without prevailing on their kneels and in their closet, and you too can be enlisted in the number by virtue of prayer.
