SALVATION OR SABOTAGE

SALVATION OR SABOTAGE?

"The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness has seized the hypocrites: who among us shall dwell with everlasting burning." Isaiah.33:14.
The matter of salvation has long been abused, preached cheaply, and grossly misinterpreted and mishandled first by the preachers, then by the recipients.
Americans will tell you that their flag don't touch the ground, otherwise you face the judge at the law court, and eventually find yourself behind bars. This happened not because they cherish the quality of material used to make the flag, but due to what the clothing symbolize, and the value they attach to it. I perceive it was owing to the price their heroes paid to acquired the land and earned the freedom.
Salvation was believed to be free because it was handed to us freely without a string attached, where as, it was paid for with an irreplaceable price. Had God used an ordinary human being or other creatures as an atonement for our sin, it would not have been costly. Inasmuch as people use human being for money rituals, and sacrifice human being in some culture for spiritual rites. But the uniqueness of Jesus Christ differentiate Him from other terrestrial being, and His death as an atonement for our sins costly.
Besides, you need to consider the One that gave Him up to us as a gift, looking at His precious offering trampling on the ground by men with no atom of appreciation attached, especially when it was in an attempt to averting a grieve consequence that is inevitably coming upon human race. It is in itself provoking and painful!
Subsequent upon that, there are certain attributes of God we don't want to hear and preached about, and that to our detriment. God isn't an hypocrite! He doesn't want us to hide any part of His personality or identity as revealed in His word to people.
However, though God is merciful and gracious, yet He is grievous and a devouring fire. He love sinners but hate the sinful life of a sinner with stack hatred. The eyes of the Lord is always upon the wicked(sinner) to wipe his remembrance out of the land.
It is an habitual character of some people in every Christian gathering to respond to alter call without a clear understanding of what they are doing. Sadly today, many altar calls for salvation I experience lack tears of genuine repentance, and does not aid growth and steadfast walk of converts in the love of Jesus, due to lack of fire and power of the real truth of the gospel.
The act of repeatedly answering the call for salvation without a concrete and determinate or distinct decision to follow Jesus is to open avenue for Satan to inflict more afflictions on your life. The bible says, "But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; All those who hate me love death." Proverb.8:36.
Men that truly gave their lives to Christ in the bible were growing and enjoying the blessings that accompany salvation; they were transformed from glory to glory, and eventually embraced their eternal home with joy.
Beloved, it is for your own advantage if you come to term with the reality of God's personality now when there is opportunity of repentance and amendment. God's good will is to always smile at you and bless you with the benefits He daily loaded the day with, but sin will hinder them from coming to you, and as a result make you experience His grieve and devouring side.
In order to enjoy God's loving kindness and reign with Him in glory at last, the following are to become your attributes according to verses.15-17 of the text:
1. He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly.
2. He who despises the gain of oppression.
3. He who shakes his hands from collecting bribes.
4. He who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, i.e doing everything within our power to curb events that can result in bloodshed. Such as, motor accident-from poor road construction, criminal acts, etc.
5. He who shuts his eyes from seeing evil. The only antidote to evil in the land is to give room for justice & equity.
Having observed all that have been mentioned above, your experience would be like the vision of Moses about the burning bush in the old testament, a scenario that brought him untamed amazement-how the fire is burning bush and it was not consumed. God is the fire, we are bushes. Instead of us to be consumed, the fire will supply manure to the grasses and enhance our growth and glory. (Exodus.3:1-6).
The following would be your dividend or reward as you observe the 5 listed characters above:
1. You'll dwell on higher places of the land.
2. Your place of defense will be the fortress of rocks-which is Christ.
3. Bread will be given you- i.e. Abundant supply of food on your table.
4. Your water will be sure. This implies guarantee of financial prosperity.
5. Your eyes will see the king in His beauty-i.e eternal life will be your portion. You'll rule and reign with Christ in His kingdom and on His golden royal throne forever.
The chose is yours today, make a decision for Jesus!
Good day!
