THERE IS TIME FOR EVERYTHING!

I welcome you again into the concluding part of the message I started a couple of days ago, it is my prayer that the intending change and revival God expect from this instruction will begin with you and you'll not recover from it until our territory is recovered from the hand of the devil, and Jesus is finally enthroned on our national and judicial seat in Jesus name.

In order to wrap up my narrative experience with my dad, I was blessed in the end following his advise to accompany them to the occasion. There is a challenge I envisage in our forth coming crusade which the Lord used that occasion to handle, as I met someone who is ready to lend a helping hand. It would not have happened gift wrapped like that if I tried to prove any right and renounce his fatherly counsel.

Notwithstanding, Elisha never deviate in his godly characters in the face of all the glory, fame and prosperity that grace his ministerial banquet, until heaven deemed it fit to expand and extend his ministerial border to another nation. The hunger for expansion and increase was there. He was not satisfied with a national glory and identity; he by virtue of his consecration and commitment to God sue for international recognition until heaven see the need to introduce him and his ministry to another mighty kingdom and her nobles.

Elisha recognized the promise and plan of God for man to be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; to have dominion and possession over kingdoms and nations by virtue of the grace and gift of God deposited in him (Genesis.1:28). So he was sensitive and receptive to divine move when the opportunity comes. He has his spiritual antenna operating at a very high frequency, such that he knew what was going on around him and even in the presidential villa. He was a prophet per excellence!

Unlike many of our notable ministers today who have allowed gift and praise of men to block both their spiritual ears and eyes, continually feed the nations with fake prophecies that lack God's backing. How many of their predictions about the current administration actually see the light of reality? May God have mercy!

As for Elisha, even when the king had not called him, he knew what was going on at the Aso rock. He was such a capable man in that office! He had an uninterrupted communion and relationship with God over the affairs of the kingdom of Israel and Judah, to instruct, put on check and advise so much that when there was a confusion in the palace he knew and said, "...why have you torn your clothes? Please let him come to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel." vs.8 . What a great grace! What a confidence in God! What a complete, capable and genuine man of God! He had nothing to fear. While the king was confused and confuse the move of God for a national war, Elisha stepped in and turned the tide around to the glory of God and pride of his nation.

However, while Elisha was walking faithfully with God, and carefully following the godly footprints of his predecessor and guard the treasure he inherited jealously with a view to pass it on to subsequent generation, Gehaz was not careful to follow in his master's steps. He was following Elisha but not faithfully and wholeheartedly. Instead of asking questions over some of Elisha's sharp reactions to issues and events, he simply doesn't care. He was always after spoil. His divine office and placement he came to win under the auspices of Elisha was not precious to him like the material gift that comes to his master. What was precious to his master was not precious to him until he lost his eternal inheritance to the spoil of that Syrian man.

This is a man God has been using to raise the dead and perform many wonders under Elisha's watch, but unfortunately was distracted at the verge of laying hold on eternal inheritance and succeeding such a kind of kingdom general by the spoil of Syria. What a great mistake! While Elisha left the presence of Elijah with a double portion of anointing and got a prove by the mantle, Gehaz left the presence of Elisha leprous and as white as snow because he was not studious and conscious of time. He conferred cause and calamity upon himself and his generation because he could not wait for his own time. He allowed the spoil of Syria to spoil his bright and glorious destiny.

Looking at that verse 8, Bible confirmed and approved Elisha as a man of God, but Gehaz has no place in this glorious heritage, he could not wait for his day of approval before Satan trapped him and forfeit the plan of God for his life.

Beloved, what is the condition of your life at the moment? What is the bait Satan want to use to destroy your glorious future, ask God to take it away. The reaction of Jesus at that moment of test is, "get behind me Satan!" Nothing between me and my heavenly crown of glory!I would have stopped weeping if only Gehaz suffered the consequence, what about the innocent generations? Bless you!

THERE IS TIME FOR EVERYTHING!

"Then he said to him, 'Did not my heart go with you when the man turned back from his chariot to meet you? Is it time to receive money and to receive clothing, Olive groves and vineyards, sheep and oxen, male and female servants? Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and your descendants forever.' And he went out from his presence leprous, as white as snow." 2 King.5:26-27.
The whole chapter of the text using for this instruction is full of many insightful instances for our lesson, but due to time, space, and the central topic I'm justifying, I'll be limiting myself to the last two verses quoted above.

First and foremost I want to pray for you; whatsoever will abort the good plan of God for your life, heaven will deal with them. Every future the Lord has foreseen in you that can make Him to withdraw His best plan from you and change His good intention, the same Lord will go ahead of you and deal with them. Every character you inherited from your parents that may stand to place a limitation on your life and destiny, the refining fire of God will blow them away and you will maximize your full potential for the fulfillment of your destiny in Jesus name.

Many are the evil tidings hearing from the church today, and no matter how it may be of concern, this is one of the ways we can arrest it in order to realize a church Jesus wants with no spot or wrinkle.

It is unfortunate today, that church which is saddled with the responsibility to give refuge, peace, and restore the hope of people is not showing any difference at all. Many ministers on the pulpit do not cherish their spiritual offices and reputations to guard it passionately and afford themselves a level of respect from governments and the general masses, instead, they have traded their beautiful garment of holiness and purity for the ashes of this age, and have insulted the holy one of Israel to His face.

Church has now been regarded as business adventure, and categorized with other secular organisations; no one treat her as sacred anymore, and give her ministers any preference and reverence like in some decades past, when there is no one to call down heaven and reverse every ungodly law and order imposed on the church of Christ by the world to limit her impact and effectiveness in this age.

To really differentiate a Christian from an unbeliever now is very hard, whereas, the identity is the bottom line of the so called sacred institution-Christianity.

Following back history into the genesis of Christianity, it was the identity of the disciples of Jesus at Antioch that attracted the men of the land and enabled them to be called or regarded as Christian(CHRIST-LIKE). They have a resemblance and characteristics of Jesus Christ their master(Acts.11:19-26).

Unfortunately today, the reverse is the case. The kind of Christians church  producing today are more of religion and denomination oriented and conscious than life and heaven-centered. And the ministers too are more hypocritical and confused than being a real ambassador of Christ. They are more of belly ministers than spirit and life ministers. May God revive His church!

In reference to the above text, there is something Elisha said in response to Gehaz misdeed I want you to note carefully: "...Is it time to receive money and to receive clothing, olive groves and vineyards, sheep and oxen, male and female servants?"
I observed that Elisha was studious of time in his attempt to reject Naaman's gift. It wasn't as if the gifts were polluted or amassed unrighteous; there is nothing bad if he actually collected it, inasmuch as a laborer is worthy of his wages, but what about the purpose for which God allow that miracle, has it been fully accomplished? Has the king of Syria too released his remark and submitted to the God of Israel, and his faithful prophet in response to the wonder the Lord wrought through Elisha? What is Naaman's gifts to winning a whole mighty kingdom to the God of Israel? Imagine the peace that would reign in Israel and the entire world as at that time if the king of Syria could give his life to the God of Israel!

Leaders determine to a large extent the condition of a kingdom or organisation; only a godly king will lead a peaceable administration and instill the fear of God in people and support anything that can promote godliness and justice, not a leader that has sold his conscience to the devil in occult society. If there will be any improvement in the lot of our nations, church will learn to reject our political leader's gifts until they are genuinely born again.

Mark my word! You can't talk any how to someone you have collected a gift from, or better still after his gifts or wealth. The reason many servants of God could not raise a voice against the wickedness of our political leaders, despite that some of them attended their church is because they've silence them with gifts...to be continued later.
