Continuation of the previous message; I read a post from an old friend on Facebook few hours ago, it was well
lettered with every purity of diction, but has left me with many
reservations and even stirred me to be on my phone pen. I actually did
not react to the post in terms of punching the like button or making a
comment, because everyone has the civic right to expressing their views
and opinions, but sometimes, our subjective opinion and view on issues
aren't always the same.
One of the point I picked from his long
epistle and willing to react to based on my childish mentality and
subjective view is the fact that, people should stop listening to
Nigerian prophets. As they are now becoming politicians and are not
hearing clearly from God anymore. They are only defending their
politician members and children. That is why their prophecies are not
coming to pass.
I have always declared that I am not a
politician and not aspiring to be one at anytime, but if tomorrow God in
His infinite wisdom demands that I should go and carry out an
assignment in the political field, there might just be another Daniel
going into the cabinet to dethrone Satan.
Notwithstanding, it is a mistake of highest order and irrational assumption for any one to disregard the office and place of a prophet in a political system, nations notwithstanding. No nation ever succeeded and fulfilled the agenda of God for them at any point in time without active and full participation of God's prophets. The prosperity of every government and kingdom rest largely on their ability to respect God's prophets.
The bible says, believe in the Lord so shall you be saved, believe His prophet that you may prosper.
God placed a larger premium on the prophets in any political settings,
and it is their grave responsibility to call men in power to order in
order to avert the wrath of God. However, if you see a minister of God
intervening in the political affairs, that has not made him a politician
or inspiring hatred and confusion, he is simply doing his job. And it
is in rare occasions you see a prophet and politicians coming into
terms, except if you are not ready to say the truth.
    "Agba ti o
kehun soro ni, yoo ketan sare l'owe awon agba." That is, an elderly man
who failed to raise his voice against evil will run when the consequence
comes. And you know what it means when an elderly or aged men runs,
they can't cover much distance before they are trapped, because there is
no more strength to do that.
Jesus told Peter, when a man is
still young, he goes wherever he likes and do what appeals to his heart
desires, but when he is old, he needs to be carried, even where he did
not desire. Your politicians can destroy everything and pick a race, the
power is there. The money is there, but where would a man of God go
when he is not led to do so? Therefore, we are not going to be quiet
until justice, fairness and equity becomes the order of the day.

Besides, I want to say with an unequivocal voice, that it is even safe
to listen to the prophets, especially when he has been tested to be a
true and genuine one, than listening to some fabricated lies and
propaganda our politicians are supplying on the media. They manipulate;
God's prophet can not do that. Even in rare cases, they say the truth of
what they see and know, but prophets speak of what is not yet seen or
heard by natural eyes and hears.
Not only that, only prophet can
fathom the heart of man through the eyes of the spirit, because, the
heart of man is deep and desperately wicked, the bible says who can know
it!? It takes only a man with the eyes of the spirit to know what the
intent of a man is at a particular moment. So don't trust anyone based
on his natural disposition or utterance, it can be very dangerous.
It is quite unfortunate that, African mentality can sometimes be too
lopsided, we quickly run to conclusion over issues and fascinated by
glitter things, especially money, and that is exactly what is
responsible for our poverty, disasters, setbacks and slow pace in
development. Do you know since Nigeria has been pleading with America to
sell them their fighter jet, upon all the integrity of the day
president, they are yet to grant the deal. This is something we are
going to pay for, but those people see beyond the peripheral. They put
so many factors into consideration before dabbling into a decision. They
take into consideration both benefit and consequence of their
decisions, they don't attend to issues on a casual note, neither are
they cheap to manipulate. I wish our country rise to that level. We rush
into signing every deal and bargains with little or no consideration on
the future implication, and we end up a slave of the decision we make.
The photo attached to this post was captured not up to a week along
coconut side of Apapa, Lagos. People that ply that route will understand
what am saying. My believe is that any responsible man in his right
senses will never play with whatever fetch him income and determine his
financial stamina, but the reverse is the case in Nigeria. To the best
of my knowledge, Apapa wharf is one of the major source of revenue to
the federal government, we know how much goes into Nigeria purse through
shipping, and how much they make their dues through way bill payment
deviant for importers, yet the system of operation is not body friendly.
Nearly every road that leads to the Apapa wharf is condemned. After
mile2, the road from berger suya through Westminster, to coconut is out
of it. I could see many goods that were just littered around stranded
because there is no way to move them out. Bus could not reach to the
interiors of those side because of bad road. The condition with which
motorcycle riders ply the road is at all risk, yet nothing was done
about it. God forbid, should there be fire accident as a result of fuel
tanker haulage, or containers falling off due to poor road network,
which of course is quite obtainable, the next thing is to come and pay
condolence and give fake sympathy that yield no positive improvement. It
 is inhuman.
Just last week, I was with a friend at Abule Ado oil
depot, a suburb of Festac in Lagos, we got to a spot where the young
man was recounting how a truck killed a man on okada (motorcycle) and
wounded the okada rider beyond measure. The man according to him was few
days to his wedding, and just like that he ended his life because of
terrible road condition.
    Nigeria don't experience natural
disaster, we are favored by God in terms of good weather condition, but
we are ourselves a disaster to one another because of self-centered life
of all and sundry. Government is signing into bill billions of Naira
for campaign at the detriment of the masses welfare and good condition
of our economy, and you are telling me there is a war against corruption
going in the current administration, who is waging it? Let's stop
deceiving ourselves and do the right thing so that it may be right with
us and the upcoming generation.

To cut the long story short,
Nigeria is too rich to continue in this kind of fate. Politicians are
burying and trafficking money to enrich themselves and their immediate
family members, at the expense of the devastating and deteriorating
state of the Nigeria people, it is a curse on its own. Should we now
agree with the statement from the white people that Africans can not
lead themselves. Please let's do something about this, a word is enough
for the wise.
Good day.
