DON'T ALLOW THE ENEMY TO PURSUE YOU! By Babatunde Israel

I'm inexplicably appreciative to God who has graciously granted me entrance into the mystery of His oracle, first for my personal growth, and that of few others following along with me. I pray that His grace shall sustain us to the end in Jesus name.

Another issue the Lord drew my attention to for today's exhortation comes from the book of Hosea.8:1-14. But in order to have a better platform for the above subject, I'll place my emphases on verse.3. "Israel hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue him."

There is a gross misconception I often notice in the body of Christ today, and due to its colossal effect on Church, I'll trust God to give me a way of discouraging its wide spread, as it even more prevalent among those that seems to be the elite of the word so to speak.

I've been privileged to attend different Christian gatherings, and I notice a slogan common to most ministers, that is alluding curse. How beautiful it would have been if they are doing justice to its eradication from the Church as much as they aloud it.

It is easier for many ministers as long as you are going through one protracted predicament or the other to predict, that, you are a victim of either familiar or generational curse; and often dominates majority of their prayer points. They make it in most cases the theme of their prayer programs.

While I'm not ruling out the existence of that in its totality, I don't so much believe in categorizing curse, all because it has been reoccurring in their lineage. This is due to the fact, that, it has not been helping in any way to ameliorating its grip upon men. And this I see to be the devices of the devil to blindfold our eyes to the root of evil appearances.

Either familiar or generational curse, the true cause of every evil, once it is not just a test of faith as the Scripture revealed in 1Peter.4:14-16, is Sin. Every act of wickedness must accompany a corresponding punishment. It would now be a fallacy to employ the ingredient of prayer to avert curse when you have not diagnose the cause of it-SIN, and cure that through genuine repentance. The Bible says, a causeless curse shall not stand... Till next time I continue, have a wonderful day.
