Where are you?

WHERE ARE YOU?
"And Israel said to Joseph, 'Are not your brothers feeding the flock in Shechem? Come, I will send you to them.' So he said to him, 'Please go and see if it is well with your brothers and well with the flocks, and bring back word to me.' So he sent him out of the valley of Hebron, and he went to Shechem." Genesis.37:13-14.
I pray for you today, the voice you need; the person you need to come out of your valley will come your way speedily in Jesus name.
The big question God kept asking his children as he asked Adam in Eden is, where are you? This is because, your location has a lot to contribute to the purpose of God for your life. Where you are can either make or mar your destiny. That is why it is imperative for everyone willing to live fulfilled to walk in its consciousness.
The message Jacob sent his son-Joseph came prior to a vision God revealed to him in two occasions about saving a whole nation his father was standing to become, and you know that every genuine revelation from God must provoke a move or action either consciously or unconsciously.
The voice of the Lord came to Joseph as though it was the voice of his father, and that turned to be the beginning of a journey into fulfillment of promise God made for his fathers, Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. But the Irony of this scenario is the word that came out in verse.14 of the above Scripture, "...so he sent him out of the valley of Hebron..."
There is a great mandate hanging on the life of Joseph the Lord was trying to call his attention to, but care and curdle from his father, being his old age son, has long been preventing him from raising a prayer to God for the necessary step to take to see the revelation of heaven he saw coming to pass until the time the will of God finally prevailed over his overly comforted environment.
However, God in his infinite wisdom inspired his father, being the only obstacle the man could have in pursuing the vision to reality, to send him out. It would have been a serious trouble if someone else helped Jacob to undertake that unique task, following the affection existing between both of them, but thank God there is no one to shift the blame for what he attempted.
I pray for you again, whoever will by means of his affection delay your destiny on a spot and stop you from fulfilling your mandate on earth, heaven will start your deliverance right from him in Jesus name.
Hebron is a wonderful place; a place of refuge; the terbanacle of God, and a promise land, but only to Jacob. As for Joseph and his vision or mandate, it is a valley land.
I want you to take note of that phrase for the sake of emphasis: "...So he sent him out of the valley of Hebron..."
Valley is a low tract of land between hills. I wonder what anyone would amount to, irrespective of the height of his revelation and vision when is in the valley. How would a glory shine, regardless of the watt of its brightness so to speak, when it is deep down or surrounded by convergent long, tall hills? The shadow of the hills would definitely suppress and overshadow the bright light from reaching forth to the top for reflection.
Imagine a young Joseph surrounded by ten brothers who are older than him with a wide margin and are in a better position by virtue of birth to fulfill the same revelation, sharing the same environment, I don't think the matter could have been better addressed than the way God did it. That is what rendered Hebron a valley land for Joseph to settle for the fulfillment of his dream.
Of course the brothers have already been terrifying him in respect of his dream before God used them to sold him away and bring separation between them for a time.
This is one of the reasons why many dreams stay elusive and men of glory died without exploring the glory, because their environments and associates work contrary to them. I don't know what would be the fate of this young man if he remained in Hebron, the valley land, with his father. Who would hear his voice and the massage heaven want him to come and deliver to his generation; who would see the shining of his glory when he has already been choked and compressed by those hills. Only on top of the hills can anyone showcase his skills and expertise. Only on the lamp stand can any candle reflect its true light.(Mat.5:14).
Beloved, have you checked your environment in relation to your struggle all these years to bring out result? Any destiny in the valley will be trampled under feet until it lost relevance, no matter how hard he cried. No matter how talented or skillful you are in your area of calling, as long as your environment is contrary, you would be far from fulfillment.
People in the valley are rarely receptive to most television stations, even if they make their antennas so high. God noticed all these together, and releave Joseph of colossal effort to fulfill his vision, Inspiring his father saying, "Joseph, get out of the valley. People like you are not meant to be here. If you try to be carried away by your father's care and embrace you would do yourself a great harm. Your generation and the ones to come would face the consequence, they would not learn what I want them to learn from your life and experience. This place you are is too inferior for the glory I deposited in you. Leave here and go to the hill of Shechem where your brothers are for now, because many are the grounds you need to cover to get to the higher hill where I designed for your vision to gain relevance and fulfillment. Go! go!! go!!!"
I perceive this is what the Lord was whispering to Joseph by reason of the instruction that came from his father to him on that day, and nearly everyone that live fulfilled in the Bible and in our contemporary times get to that point in their lives.
Jesse the father of king David sent him to go and check the welfare of his brothers at the battle front before God used that as an opportunity to glorify him. You need a word of direction to come out of your valley and possess your hill or higher ground where you could fulfill your destiny.
Psalmist says: "I waited patiently for the Lord: and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock and established my steps." Psalm.40:1-2.
Friend, which valley are you right now? Valley of decision making in marriage, ministry, business, academics, etc. It is dangerous to stay too long there; take it to God in prayer and let him give you a word of direction. If you think God is speaking to you, I enjoin you to cry until a word is released from the throne of grace.
God bless you.
